MANAGING PARTNER
Justin Mensah-Coker is a name synonymous with dedication, leadership, and innovation. A former professional and Canadian National Rugby player with an athletic career spanning over a decade, Justin has seamlessly transitioned his passion for teamwork, leadership, and excellence into the hospitality industry.
Driven by a lifelong passion for service and the dynamic pace of the hospitality industry, Justin ventured into a new chapter after his rugby career. His foundational experiences working part-time in restaurants during his youth ignited a love for the service industry's team-oriented nature. After is move from Rugby, Justin’s transition back into hospitality was marked first by his involvement in the successful launch of House Guest, a supper club in Gastown, which quickly became a hallmark of Vancouver's dining and nightlife scene.
Justin's hospitality journey continued as he expanded his horizons, joining the Cactus Club Cafe group at their flagship Coal Harbour location. Here, he evolved into a formidable leader, ultimately serving as General Manager of this location, and finishing his career with the company as a Regional Manager.
2023 brought change for Justin, as he embarked on a new venture, coming on board as Managing Partner and COO of At Home Hospitality, alongside long-time friends Ted Wilkie and Michael Rose. Here he would help fortify the team, providing the skillset, knowledge, and bandwidth to allow the group to take on new challenges.
His goals remain focused on creating unforgettable experiences and inclusive environments for both staff and clients, underpinned by a "people first" philosophy inherited from his sports career.
