TED
WILKIE

FOUNDER

With a keen focus on design, branding, and operations, Teddy has been the project lead on numerous builds and renovations, placing a strong emphasis on culture, menu development, and innovation. Under his leadership, his team has grown to over 90 dedicated individuals, driving the businesses to achieve over $15 million in annual sales.

Teddy's leadership style is deeply influenced by his background as an NCAA Division 1 baseball player, where he learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and caring for those around him. This has translated into his approach to business, where he prioritizes the well-being of his staff and the satisfaction of his guests, striving to create memorable moments for all.

When he's not overseeing his ventures or planning the next big project, Teddy is an avid Toronto sports fan and enjoys golfing and embracing every opportunity for adventure and relaxation.

Teddy Wilkie is the Director of At Home Hospitality, Hotel Belmont F&B, and the operating partner and founder of Banter Room. His career started off in 2007 at Cactus Club Cafe, he then moved on to work with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, The Donnelly Group and The Parlour restaurant before taking the entrepreneurial leap and opening his first concept, and has since become a cornerstone in the Vancouver hospitality industry.

In 2017, he opened Banter Room, his first restaurant, which was quickly followed by the success of The Living Room Lounge and The Basement Nightclub in 2019. Currently, he and his At Home Hospitality partners are steering their most ambitious project to date, Prophecy, a high-end cocktail lounge nestled in the historic Hotel Georgia.
